Radical

Radical is an organisation hosting events and radioshows. It has been founded in 2008 by Dj Nika and Dj Myrkur. The name of the organization refers to Distance’s dubstep anthem ‘Radical’, released in 2007. Although Radical has been born out of the Dutch dubstep scene, its goal is to broaden the horizon of dubstep, creating crossovers to other genres like IDM, Breakcore, Ambient, Drum and Bass, Acid and other experimental genres. By frequently organizing events with various line-ups at the OT301 in Amsterdam and hosting a radioshow once every two weeks on Wednesday night we aim to reach this goal.
