Share Your MTX "Best of" With the World

Voting for MTX's "best of" double LP now over. Thank you all for such a tremendous response. Right now,  we are poring over nearly one thousand survey responses to create the ultimate MTX album. This problem is, choosing songs is hard, but sequencing them is even harder.  Each of the four sides of the double LP needs to be a self-contained program that when sequenced together “feels” like an album.  There are many ways to approach this, but it’s easier said than done!  So we need your help!

We need you to share your ideal 24-song sequenced track-list with the world.  We are listening! To help us,  (1) sign up to Spotify, (2) create your ultimate playlist, and (3) share it with EVERYONE on Facebook, Twitter and more. Tag us.  On Facebook: @FrankPortman, @MrTExperience, @SoundsRad;  On Twitter:  @FrankPortman @Mtxforever, @SoundsWayRad;  and use the hashtag #Mtxforever so we can find it.  The best playlists will be selected by Dr. Frank and shared on ALL of our social media sites! You help will be give us much needed advice on how to approach the sequencing of the double LP!

Step 1 - Sign Up for Spotify 

​Let's face it, there are a heck of a lot of people on Spotify. You are probably listening to Spotify right now. If you are not on Spotify, then why the hell not!? The entire MTX discography (and um the Sounds Rad catalog) are up there, streaming in the ether for FREE. 

So why not sign up for an account and stream MTX 24-hours a day for next year? (You know you want to because every stream gets Dr. Frank closer to buying that ham on rye he's been eyeballing at the deli up the street).  Simply go to www.spotify.com and sign up for a FREE account (supported by ads) or a pay account. (Whatever floats your boat).

​But the point is, that its FREE and easy to sign up--especially if you link it to your Facebook account. (Go nuts, share your data and cat pictures with the world).

Step 2 - Create Your Ultimate Playlist

Now that you've signed up for Spotify, we want you to create your ultimate playlist. Just use the playlist that you created for the previous survey. If you didn't participate, no problem, just follow these ground rules--
  • You can only select twenty-four (24) songs. 
  • Duplicate songs will not be counted. 
  • Duplicate submissions will not be counted. 
  • We are not including any songs on the Sounds Rad releases so try not put them on your playlist.

If you lost your list, we got you covered! Just email a request with your full name to [email protected] and we will email your playlist.

Step 3 - Share Your Playlist on Facebook, Twitter ... Everywhere! 

Look at that killer playlist that you've created! (It's definitely better than the one we created). The final step is to share it with the world. I mean, we want you to share it with everyone. (Dr. Frank, friends, family, lovers, frienemies, your neighbor Big Eddy ... EVERYONE).
