The Muffs' Really Really Happy, their fifth album, is getting an expanded reissue nearly two decades after its 2004 release. This reissue marks a new chapter for the band, which was reignited by friends Charlotte Caffey (Go-Go’s) and Anna Waronker (that dog) when they launched their label, Five Foot Two Records. The reissue comes as a double-CD and digital release, featuring the original 17 tracks plus 22 bonus songs, including 16 demos by frontwoman Kim Shattuck. Accompanied by liner notes from drummer Roy McDonald, bassist Ronnie Barnett, and Shattuck's loved ones, this release pays tribute to Shattuck’s creative genius. The demos are also available on a separate vinyl release titled New Improved Kim Shattuck Demos.
