The 1986 compilation album "Misfits," often referred to as "Collection," "Collection 1," or "Collection I," assembles twenty tracks from the seminal American punk rock band Misfits. This comprehensive album gathers a selection of the band's early singles alongside tracks from their albums "Walk Among Us" (1982) and "Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood" (1983), as well as the 1985 "Legacy of Brutality" compilation, which was put together by vocalist Glenn Danzig post the band's dissolution in 1983. Released by Plan 9 and Caroline Records on July 1, 1986, "Collection I" was later complemented by "Collection II" in 1995. Both collections were ultimately included in the boxed set "The Misfits," which saw a release in 1996, offering fans a comprehensive look into the band's influential catalogue.
